What does the doctor mean when he tells me i have a swollen ovary??

Is it a bad thing? something we have to look into?

I would be asking why I have a swollen ovary, there has to be a reason, if your Dr. doesn't have an answer seek a second opinion, an ultra sound will tell if there are any problems very quickly. I do not want to start listing things that it "could" be as I am not a Dr. and I see no need to frighten you, but I do think it is important to find out why. good luck.

It means that your ovary is swolen.
