The advantage is if the celebrity is well liked than the product or company will receive a lot of attention and publicity. The disadvantage is if the celebrity does something stupid then everything connected to that celebrity usually suffers as well from the bad publicity.

Advantage of celebrity endorsement is everybody intrest to watch that ad . disadvantage of celebrity endorsement very expensive and anti fans refuse to buy that product.
