when was the last time you did something dangerous? what was it? was your life threatened?

HI,

Right after high school, some forty years ago I went to collage to become a chemist, I was pretty smart with a lot of stupid rolled in together. I made a compound called Nitroiodide. It is much like Nitroglycerin except it is inert while wet. However, when it dries it is more dangerous then Nitro. I made a small batch and removed some with a pipette. I then destroyed the remainder of the compound. I spread some on a piece of wood to dry and failed to clean the pipette. A few days later I was doing two or three things at the same time. I was trying to start a car by pouring gasoline from a soup can down the carb when I remembered the wood with the chemical on it. Keep in mind once dry a fly walking across it could set it off. I had moved the pipette and absentmindedly set it near the car I was trying to start. My intention was to wash the pipette to make it safe.

I threw the piece of 2 X 4 as hard and far as I could. When it hit the ground it exploded with such a magnitude that the concussion knocked me down against the car causing the pipette to also detonate. Since there was not much in the pipette and it‘s explosion was much milder. It did however manage to ignite the gasoline and send the flaming can into the air. The burning gasoline poured out of the can right on top of my head igniting my tee shirt and pants By the time I put me out I had second and third degree burns over 42 % of my body. The only thing that saved my life is instead of inhaling I was calling myself names at the top of my lungs. If my lungs would have been burnt my chances of survival would have been very low. I wound up spending four month in the hospitals burn center.

the last thing I done dangerous was 3 yrs ago i tried driving my car off of a cliff I had a buick with a 4 brl carb I floor boarded it and headed straight for the 35 ft drop I slid side ways so the car would roll down the cliff it hit the gravel and came to a instant dead stop so I floored it again and went for the next one a 28 ft drop, this time I went straight a head the car hit the gravels and stopped on a dime. no I didnot hit the brakes the motor was still racing both times. I was later placed in the state mental hospital, for suicidal tendencies. no big deal. as far as the car stopping like it did you answer it. the only other thing I can think of is I have had unprotected sex with 21 different women they say that is dangerous.

Yes i did something very dangerous. I had unprotected sex with my fiance, had him *** inside of me twice (im not on birth control) and then the next week after that i ended up getting drunk and having sex with my friend unprotected (but only for like 2 minutes but it dont matter) who has sex with several girls every week. I coulda gotten pregnant, or got an STD from my friend, or even AIDS from having unprotected sex with 2 people in less than a week. But im completely fine, that would be the most dangerous thing and life threatening. Nothing can compare to that.

awhile back I walked on rebar across a bridge under construction to the other side and was 300 ft in the air, the next day I went and looked at the distance and it was kinda scary
