My teacher is making me write an elegy but didn't write the format for it. Help????

an elegy is a short poem or song for the dead. It only has to be a couple lines. Jim was a wonderful man. He would help anyone if he can. He was an asset to the community.Always here always there. His mind he would always share.In heaven I hope he knows that his knowledge grows and grows. (Something like that).

an elegy is a poem in memory of someone. It can follow any format but the basic premise is find someone you want to write in memory of.
