It breaks my heart to see him cry. I dont wanna hurt him. I've tried asking him to move out nicely. I've confronted him with all the "issues" I have. I know it won't last but he's convinced we can work throught things. I don't wanna drag things out anymore.

You need to cut the line. you know there is no future and you keep hurting his feelings more and more by constantly bringing up all the faults. The sooner you make the clean break, the better for all involved. stick to your guns. you probably make him cry weekly..... get it over with and have one good cry. Dont keep leading him on to something that's not gonna happen.

Just tell him it's over and he needs to move on. It will hurt him but not as much if you do it now rather than waiting. Be sensitive to his feelings though. Don't be a beatch about it. Good Luck!!!

Sometimes it takes hurting the other whether we like it or not. I'd set a firm date that he should be out or his possessions will be at the curb. God help you for I know this is not easy.

why are you annoyingyourselfwith guilt ..and false guiltat that if your not happy with the situation you wont ever be so let him cry and be honest ..wich your doing so by trying to break up with him,,,dont let him run over your compassion by manipulating you.
he will get over it...
