It won for Best Art Direction, Best Costume Design, Best Visual Effects, Best Film Editing, Best Original Score and Best Sound.

It was also nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor and Best Original Screenplay.

The original Star Wars won six Oscars. Best Special Effects, Best Sound and I think Best Score. I know it was nominated for Best Costuming, but I can't remember if it won.
