Which class is harder in college... Precalculus or Accounting?

I was just wondering because I made a B in Pre-Cal, and am curious as to how I will do in my accounting classes.

Accounting is basic adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing... You do not use geometry, trigonometry, integrals, etc. that you may have become all too familiar with in pre-calc. Although accounting appears to be a foreign language at first, once you understand the terminology, the actual calculations are essentially basic math.

It depends on what you like. I'd take precalculus because accounting would bore the shi t out of me. Truth be told, it's probably easier than pre calc tho..

well i know i have to take calc 1 calc 2 calc 3 and differential equations. those will be ridiculously difficult. Accounting may be difficult depending on what kind of math person you are. It is more like interest type problems, etc.

They are very different. The math in accounting is not difficult. The harder concept is more theory and applying theory and keeping rules straight and categorizing data correctly and being able to analyze it. Good math skills do not necessarily correlate to good accounting skills. Although bad math skills may correlate to bad accounting skills...Good Luck. It isnt that bad.

Accounting. Get A by memorizing the order of chemicals
in the elements chart, then the eletrodes.

Never took accounting. Precalc just leads to calc 1 and calc2 which is that whole calculate volumes by revolving curve around the x axis and approximating it's shape.
I hated integration by parts and uv-/vdu. Hardest C I ever got.............

I've had both and I hated accounting. Precalculus was at least fun.And so you know I got A's in both.
