Does anybody know what the word "cab" refers to and why when discussing snowboarding or skating.?

In skateboarding, a cab, short for caballerial(sp), is where you are riding fakie(switch stance with feet in the nollie position) and doing a 360 by ollieing off the ground and twisting your body around.

a half-cab is exactly what it sounds like, its only half of a cab, so that would make it a 180 spin turn.

Im fairly sure its similar for snowboarding as well.
