Ok, I've read the other questions similar to this and everyone got flamed as a racist, but here it is anyway.

Notice that I used "black american culture" NOT blacks, and "white american culture" and NOT whites. Race is NOT an issue here. I know plenty of white people (especially kids) who are into black culture, and I know black people who are into white culture.

You cannot argue that adherers to black culture are not louder in general than the majority of the public, and can usually be heard above the common talk in a public place. Why is this?

Again, I stress, the issue here is with CULTURE, and not RACE. There is a distinct difference, and if anyone flames me as a racist because of this you are just showing your own ignorance.

~Thanks~

Remember, I would like an answer, not just an an agreement or disagreement. I would like to know WHY this is. Also, as the references to american culture should point out, I am talking about people in America.

~Thanks~

Ok since you're talking about culture here, the American culture to be precise.... BOTH black AND white American culture are loud lol.
Those who aren't Americans will agree with me.. because we're on the outside, looking in. I work at a US MNC here in Singapore and I'll always be able to differentiate those from the USA or from other parts of the world. One of the criterias is loudness. :)
This should be an enlightenment you and in no way am I insulting Americans. One of my best friends is American. And yeh.. he is white.. and he is LOUD. lol.
Perhaps its cos they're not in the USA. I haven't been to the US before so I wouldn't know if there's much of a difference there in the US. But if there is, I would be surprised. Maybe the white American culture is loud in their homes? Away from public places? Where they can vent out their loudness inherent in them?

Nature -vs - nurture . . . very interesting.
I'm generally quiet in public, but I'm louder when I'm laughing.
I'm half German, a quarter each Irish and Italian ('any more white and I'd be transparent').
I think black culture is louder because it finally CAN be, and there's a lot of steam (unheard issues) that hasn't been let off yet. Completely understandable, it makes sense to me.

I've only noticed it in religious observances where people from black culture may have less reservation and less ostentation than other groups. But that just may be the services I have seen and not true as a general rule.

I think it's just because people from white culture are prone to be quieter than people from black culture. It's just in their nature. Go to an all white church, you can see (hear) them, then go the a church from the black culture you can definately tell there is a major difference. There's nothing wrong with this.

LOL...its funny because my boyf talks really loud. In stores, I find other black people talking loudly, movies *ESPECIALLY* the movies. I think some people really cant help it, some are just rude and ghetto and have not been taught that public is not a place for everyone to hear what you are saying.

I do not find you to be racist nor do I see the necessity to scream and call you one; honestly I don't know the answer, I ponder this myself and I see these people almost everyday of my life; I for one am not in this culture, I am quiet and subtle
