Seen or Believe in Ghost?

Question

I know it has probally been asked before, but do you believe in ghost? And/or have you ever had any kind of contact with one (or more)?

Personally, I've seen at least five, but have had "other" contact, as well.

To everyone: thank you for your encredible responce. All of you answers were all fantastic. Which made choosing a best answer out of them really difficult. So to those of you who I didn't chose, thank you very much for sharing. Again, your answers were all very good. Jack, it seems that I've heard of school #4 before. Mebhe, our experiences are similar. And Silverwolf; sounds like you have playful entity on your hands. Chief, I don't know how you left with clean pants.

My good buddy spent 4 nights in Afghanistan with a group of 8 guys. All including him are Navy Seals and he had an interesting story.

After a day of stalking the intended victim they were hiding out in a mountain side waiting for day light. They all had on there body heat sensors. Two of them saw a figure walking towards them and opened fire.

When the third guy failed to fire his weapon he tapped one of the others on the shoulder and told him to take off his heat censers to look with his naked eye. (By now they realize this guy isn't hitting the floor.)

He took off his heat censers and saw a Afghan walking around as if he was still alive only you can clearly see threw him. The ghost or what ever you want to call it seemed to be floating b/c his legs were invisible.


After a full 2 1/2 min or so, he then simply disappeared.

Now if you don't know, Navy seals are of the most credible, smartest and observant people you could ever come across. As my friend said, it may not have been a ghost, but he has no idea what the hell it was.

Yes. It was like a black shadow of a guy who moved pretty fast (I seen it 3 times that day) my dad even seen it too I ain't sure if it was the same one like I seen. A picture of Jesus was on the wall and it went across the floor nobody seen it flying but it had of because the way it landed. Also when I was 7 I did seen something flying in the air. lol I remember running into my closet! My mom said when she was making a sandwich when I was 7 the bread was put away and nobody else touched it. It must happen when I hid... from my own eyes I do believe in ghost now.
Oh and I seen 3 angels with golden blonde hair i never seen the faces though....they didnt have wings either...it's creepy if you ask me

Yes, believe. And, yes have seen. When I seven, I was riding with my mother (who was driving) and grandmother on a back road. We came over the top of a hill and started into a "gully" when we saw a little old lady in a white rain coat who looked like she was about to cross the road. My mother slowed down so she could cross, instead, She lifted off the ground and flew over the car. The second she came off the ground, I ducked into the floor (like that was going to save me). However, I still watched. When "she" reached the other side of the road, it just sort of vaporized into the bushes. After seeing this, we were doing over 80' by the time we reached the main road. We all started asking each other "Did you see that?".
Another time, when I was about 14 or 15, I was walking into our house with my head down ( paying attention to something I had in my hands). I glanced up, to make sure of where I was going, when I saw a man, only from the waist up (there were no legs), dressed in late 19th century clothes (shirt, small vest and string bow tie), walk across in front of me. When "he" reached the head of the hallway, he disappeared.
I was really the scared the first time it ever happened, but, later, it got to where it just kind of shocked me. Because, The afore related tales are only two of many encounters.

I do believe in spirits and I did saw one once. It was not scary.It's like you've been touched with a very light silk piece of material. That was it! I was half asleep and saw like a shadow standing tall besides me then that slight touch!. A friend who was sleeping in the other twin bed saw the shadow too, and we both thought it was the other getting up during the night.

I do not call them ghosts. I call them spirits and they do visit me in my sleep and sometimes I wake up talking to one. It is not at all like the scary movies!

I beleive. And no contact...well..my and friend did a seance once and we made chains move by asking a ghost to move them but truth be told that was probably just the ventilation in the room. I guess you can never know. But I definetly believe in them, except I think it takes someone who really needs them to see them, not just anyone.

Seen? Yes...Out of the corner of my eye, like a shadow.
Believe? Yes!
Contact? Yes...He likes to play with electronics and moving small objects around. His favorite is changing the screen on my cell phone when I'm trying to dial a number and hitting the redial button on my landline phone when I'm talking to someone. He's not scary...he likes playing harmless tricks, and he made my baby laugh a lot when he was a newborn.

yes i have seen and do live with 1. as a young boy i,ve been able to see spirites evil, and good. when i turned 18 i was out partying with my friends and i got very cold like i just walkef into a freezer i look up and there's about 20-30 spirites, and they weren't very happy i started shaking and i told my brother we needed to leave and ever since then they follow me where ever i go.

Yes Ive seen one. I cant believe it at first but when it appeared for the second time, it made me believe in ghosts.

I saw a house, several animals, and the owner of the house...all of whom were long gone, by about 5 years or more by the time I saw them. A friend who was with me, knew the person and the animals and house; he said my description was exact. I guess I believe in them...

As an historian, with an abnormally large number of deceased friends - yes I do believe in ghosts.

I've never seen one - but I have felt them... even empathized with them... but I don't know what they are... memories, feelings...

I really can't say.

I believe that people live on in other's memories...
