I think it depends on your accessories. If you are wearing a brown belt and carrying a brown handbag or if you are wearing a brown top then I think it would look alright. Otherwise, if you are going to be around people who notice these types of things, I would go for black shoes. If you are going to an event where no one would notice or care go with the brown.

I've always felt that black should go with black and brown with brown. Sometimes you find shoes and accessories that have both colors in them, making them more versatile.

Well, it depends. I don't like brown and black together... but only because I've been taught its a no no!! But I've seen people pull it off, and it look so cute. I just know it would drive me nuts if I wore them together. But I guess the most important question is, what about your top? What color is it?
