Good day.

Start, Control Panel and under classic view, (can click i on yur left) click the "Display" Option. The "Display Properties" window comes up. Click the settings tab. On the left u will see screen resolution. Drag the slider to the screen resolution u chooze. I have a laptop so my screen resolution is 1280 x 798 pixels under Highest colour quality 32 bit. Under the same settings tab, u can chooze the display adapter which is right above the screen resolution and colour scheme sliders.Laterz

Depends on your screen type and size. Most 17 inch CRT's will do nice in 800x600 to 1024X768. For 19 inch 1024x768 to 1280x1024.

That is a matter of preference. The higher the resolution you set, the smaller icons and font will get.

LCD screens have a recommended resolution in which they will perform their best.

It is usually 800 by 600 or 1024 by 768 (if the screen is a bit bigger)
