At any time, but impeachment is often a completely misunderstood concept, thanks in no small part to the news media. The constitution grants the congress impeachment powers over president, vp and "civil officers. (Congress rarely considers itself or its members impeachable, but it has happened before).

For the process to begin, first Articles of Impeachment must be approved by a simple majority. These are the charges, then if the vote passes in favor of the Article of Impeachment, the president would therefore be impeached.

Treason and bribery are constitutional standards for impeachment, as well as "other high crimes and misdemeanors." It is of these high crimes that confusion begins.

After impeachment in House, the Senate can try the case, but that is more than you asked for :)

The congress can move to impeach the president for any just cause.

That is a pretty open area so they can impeach for almost any reason.

Anything that violated his oath and he's already done that like a billion times. Impeachment is unlikely because it may take a while and he only has 2 years left so I think congress will ride it out and allow him to f*** up his name and glory even further that way history remembers him as a fool rather than a winner who was impeaced.

The things you would go to prison for the President would be impeached for. This is usually the case but in Clinton's, perjury did not seem to matter. I wouldn't advise you to try that one because it is good for 10 year prison term.

Strict disagreements with congress. A good example of this wsa when Lincoln got assassinated and Andrew Johnson came into power. His congress did not believe in his values, so there were many disagreements on bills being passed n such so he was impeached.

Impeaching wouldn't help. All presidents are elected by THIS secret and evil group that's been in control of everything for far too long!...
