According to Microsoft, the Pocket PC is a handheld device that users can store and retrieve e-mail, contacts, appointments, tasks, play multimedia files, games, exchange text messages with Windows Live Messenger (MSN Messenger), browse the Web, and more
A PDA is a "Personal Digital Assistant". It does the same thing a Pocket PC does. Help with organizing things like appts, task, calander, but may not have things like games.
A Blackbery is a cell phone that is also a PDA. It does both.

A Pocket PC is one of the 2 main kinds of PDA. The other kind is Palm.
A BlackBerry advertises it's a PDA, but it's more in the world of cell phones than PDAs.

Let's start with the basics:
PDA - Personal Digital Assistant - pretty much describes any Pocket CE or Palm Device. Blackberry also falls in this categry.
Pocket PC - Operating system from Microsoft
Palm Pilot - Operating system from PalmOne
Blackberry - Personal digital assistant that uses it's own software in addition to being a cell phone.
There are other Palm and CE devices that are used in conjunction to phones, but Blackberry is very popular in the marketplace now. (I'm one of the few people I know that has a CE enabled phone, and I love it!)
It's a great way to keep your contacts and notes with you at all times. I highly suggest a PDA phone combo (inc. Blackberry) for anyone who wants to be digitally organized in a very portable way.
