I have 2 boys from a previous marriage and I had a baby shower with my first child. Our marriage didn't last and now I am engaged and pregnant with someone special. My mom was going to give me a baby shower and I was wondering if thats ok. Some people say your supposed to only have one baby shower.

thats fine. its a baby with a new person too so that will be exciting for you. my sister has two kids, and she had a baby shower for each of them. mainly cause one was a boy and the other was a girl. and because she got rid of all of the baby stuff from her first child. (there was a 5 year age difference) but yeah go ahead =] im sure you would get alot of cute things! Good Luck and congratulations on your new baby!

haha, what's the point of having mulitple children if you can't have a baby shower? LOL, jk, but I had two children and two baby showers, I had a boy and than a girl. I needed help the second time around, because we didn't have a lot of money because we just bought a new car. I needed help. It's not wrong to have a baby shower after you had one. Do it as many times as you please. Three sounds great. My mother never had baby shower's for her 3 children, and I really wanted to see how much she cared about us. She really didn't show, because I have no pictures of her being pregnant with me or me growing up. Take as many pictures as you can at the baby shower which you should have, because your children will value it a lot.

Good question, I dont get it either are you suppose to have only one baby shower? I say go a head have another one . If I'm pregnant again I'm thinking about having another one.

i have to boys a 1 year old and a 2 week old.
i had a baby shower with the both of them. i think every baby should be celebrated. they are all a blessing and should be welcome just like any other child..
go ahead have another shower it will be fun..

oh yeah i think it would be fine to have another babyshower. I say go ahead and have one. :) Or if people tell you its not ok just say its a party to celebrate you new little one, not a " baby shower ". But i would say its fine. Congratulations on your pregnancy :)

you're usually suppose to have 1 but since it didn't work out it's completly normal to have another one with your new fiance. I think it's ok because my cousin had one with a new husband after she already had kids. So congrats and have fun :)

you should have it, each baby is different, and each one has to have a shower. you are lucky that your mom is doing it for you.

you can have a baby shower if you want. think of all the things you'll need that you might not be able to get...crib, carseats etc.
