It will reduce fuel very, very minimally.

Are you asking if installing a cold air tube will increase fuel mileage then the answer is NO. These things may look and sound cool but are practically worthless unless you have made major modifications to the rest of the engine, exhaust and fuel delivery systems. The peak HP gains only come-in over 3500 rpm anyway so unless you race it everywhere you would be better off turning off your AC unit to save gas and gain a few HP.

It's hard for some kit working out of his garage (or moms basement) to come up with a intake design more efficient than a huge automaking conglomerate full of guys with engineering degrees and multi-million dollar engineering budgets. Most CAI's see little to no gain in efficiency and even when they do it is over a very narrow part of the rev range rarely visited during normal driving.

You'd do better to just check your tire pressures regularly (95% of people don't) and that's free!

Yes, any time you can improve the intake or exhaust system you are making it more effecent. An engine is just a large pump so to speak, the more air you can get in it and the faster you can get it out, the more effecent and the more power it can make. Most factory intake systems are restrictive for the sake of quiet operation, an aftermarket system ususlly creates more under hood noise under part to full throttle accelation.

cold air intake will help save gas

it will give the engine a 50/50 air/fuel

those ppl who said it wont: "TURBO/SUPERCHARGER WILL GIVE YOU LESS MPG"

no it's going to make it greater valuable. greater valuable airflow to an engine makes it carry out greater valuable. its like permitting a marathon runner to respire much less confusing, they are going to be waiting to pass further longer.
