Try denatured alcohol. If you use just a little you shouldnt damage the book much. But be careful because you need proper ventilation. Or try a little olive oil. That has worked for me on random occasions. What kind of book? Hard cover? Good luck on your sticker mission.

Rubbing alcohol. Sometimes it takes more than one application and a bunch of elbow grease. Keep using the nail polish remover, once a day. It'll be gone in a week!

Rubbing alcohol and lots of elbow grease. Also if you can find it THE BEST is dry cleaning fluid, you can buy it at a shoe repair shop.

Soak it in some warm to hot water with some detergent. Let it sit a while, like 15 minutes or so, and scrub off.

Hope this helps!

Best thing is lighter fluid - the kind you use for zippo lighters. It will clean sticky off anything - artists also use it in their work for the same thing - it's really cheap and really works!

Well, I am not sure what it will do to your book, but try some WD-40 or Goop if you have it. Don't let it soak in too much.
