Offer to dust. Every mom hates to dust! Scrubbing the tub stinks, too, so you should get some money for that, and organize the basement or garage if you have one. I'd give my kid 100 bucks to do that! I know this is dumb, but I have a teenager in highschool, and if I could squeeze one more home-made present out of him I'd be soooo happy. A note in a cheap frame would be better than my usual presents, and would save you money.

look around for old stuff that you dont need anymore and take it to the pawn shop. thats what my daddy used to do when i was a kid. he needed the money to buy heroin.
