I really like this boy. I have known hin since 4th grade!But 2 things make me wonder if he really likes me. He always talks to this ''popular'' girl and he laughs, and hugs her... and another thing is he never takes things seriously, so I'm never really sure if what he really feels is true.I wish he just came up to my face and said' I really like you.'' He is popular, and I know popular kids ,but I am not really part of them. What can I do?

Well, try to talk to him a little more. If he seems uninterested, leave him be. You can't change a guy's mind unless you change yourself. If popularity is what you want, try and hang out with the popular kids, hang out with them, then try and break out of the timid shell and start talking with tht guy! Remember to ALWAYS make a guy feel desired and appreciated. That is what most boyfriends want from their girlfriends: to feel desired and appreciated. Just be a total sweet-heart to him and maybe he'll go out w/ you.

Sounds like this boy you like has a really gigantic "ego" he hangs with the popular girl because to him that's making him look good and by what you typed he sound really immature so he has a lot of growing up to do, be glad that you can see these things about him. Let's be real if he went with you and acting this way around you and did stupid A** stuff and never acknowledge it or apologized for it. You'd be in a lose-lose relationship, you sound like you're way more mature than he is so right now if i were you i wouldn't waste my time on him. Let him come to his senses because someone needs to bring that big head of his down a notch or two really. Right now think of it like this, he'll be a better friend than boyfriend so just give it sometime and he'll come to his senses hopefully, oh and by the way how old is he? I know how you feel, I've been through this not too long ago so you're not alone, just give it time if he doesn't see what you see then oh well his loss sweetie remain friends with him.

i had the same problem. i went up to the boy and said do you like me or no because i cant wait forever on you. and he answered me with a yes he likes me but he was scared to say it. so maybe your boy is just scared so you need to take charge!

Move on.....boys/men when motivated will want to conquer you, go up to you. If he is not approaching you move on, there are so many interesting people out there to meet!
