Im gettin braces in 2 weeks and Im worried that Ill look like a geek, so I want to know if there are anyways that I can still look pretty and not geeky.
And also...what colors are good!? I look pretty much like my avatar if that helps!!!!

Um, I don't think anyone anymore thinks of someone with braces as a geek, I certainly don't. You can get clear colored ones (I think they cost a bit more) but if you are worried about it, it might be worth it. Good Luck.

I had braces, and believe me you won't look like a geek. I wore them for 3 and a half years and now my teeth are perfect. You can get clear braces, around here they are the same price as the other ones... My cousin got the clear ones and loved them.

urg i have braces, but just think that when ur done with them u will have beautiful straight teeth. braces don't make u look like a geek because every1 has them, it depends on what type of braces you get because not all require bands (the colored part) what ever you do don't get clear because after a few days they stain and turn the color of the food you were eating.mix it up. like usc? get usc colors. 4th of July coming up. get red white and blue.

A lot of people have braces. They aren't just for geeks any more. Drawing attention away from the mouth with light pink lipstick and enphasising the eyes (don't cake on eye shadow, though). You can get some of the gross food stuck in them by swishing water around ur mouth.

I've had braces for 2 years. It can be a pain. But dont focus on how not pretty you are with them on. Think about what the'll do to make you look even better. I'd pick a color that matches with your face! Good Luck

do not freak out itis nothing to worry about just because you have braces doesn't mean your a geek...... for me personally i would kinda like braces and i would suggest like maybe pink or blue for your braces

u r really pretty, u will look fine. My friend has them and u cant notice them. Id be more worried about the pain then how id look lol. She has pastel purple elastics they are cute, she also has baby pink. dont get loud colours like blue and red tho.

i had braces, and geekyness is unavoidable. i had people tell me i didnt look nearly as geeky as some people because i didnt care if people knew i had braces or if i smiled in them- i had confidence. and do not get white unless your teeth are perfectly white, no yellow or it will make your teeth look very yellow, no clear because they change colors sometimes with what you eat. personally, i liked black. it goes with pretty much anything you wear!

whatever u do dont get a yellow colour
it will make ur teeth look really yellow
i say go for the colour of ur eyes if u have green or blue eyes

Don't get any dark colored elastic bands. Do you look good in pink? Get a light pink color, or if they have clear go for that.
