The best Free Dropshipper that I use is http://www.BuyatDiscounts.com the prices are low and they have over 50,000 products. I have been useing them for over a year now to sell products on ebay and am very happy with the site. They have great customer service and super quality, easy to sell products. They also offer packages to build a site of your own if you're interested in that. Overall I would give the site a 9 out of 10! There aren't many sites like www.BuyatDiscounts.com who let you DropShip. Trust me, I looked for months! If you're interested in your own site check out this link http://www.buyatdiscounts.com/marketing/...
I hope this helps you and good luck!

Hi Steaven,
Unless you have a TON of financial backing do NOT waste YOUR TIME.
I had an on-line catalog when EBAY and AMAZON were in their infancy.
It contained around 3,000 products in groups and ranged from fine crystal to hand tools. The pricing was set at about 30% below retail, NO COOKIES, NO ADS and NO POP-UPS. The business model was based upon PROFIT and NOT BURN RATE. I might also mentiion ALL of our suppliers drop-shipped and covered the shipping charges.
The KEY then and NOW was ADVERTISING and getting people to FIND you in an 80 story high phone book. You can have the BEST product at the BEST price , but if NOBODY can find you forget it.
You will invest a TON of time and energy (I wrote the site between 6 PM and 2 AM)
If you have 20% of your expected first year sales to devote to PROMOTION then go for it. My guess is that you will need a minimum of $100,000 to burn in the first year with search engine placement fees.
Also be prepared to SELL ADVERTISING on your site and have cookies to see where your hits are coming from so that you can direct your marketing efforts.
If you don't have that, LOOK at EBAY because they do it for you for a charge; it's like renting a store in a HUGE MALL and the cost is reasonable.
Been there and done that. Good Luck
Jacques

If you are already on the wholesale business makes sense. It's another selling channel with slightly different set of rules.
I make an e-commerce site for a videogame and movie distributor and we reused most of the available infrastructure at the time.

Smart business men only? Please there are plenty of smart business women as well. Why do you only consider men to be worthy of answering your question. Smart business people include MEN and WOMEN you should not base someone's worthiness by what is in their pants because intellegence isn't measured there!
