Yes, having another adult coming in the house and taking over would be scary. I wonder if the parents take her advice and keep on the right track. I wonder how the kids feel, if Mom and Dad do change the rules and ways of doing things.

I'm 12 years old and I am not scared of any nannys because my mom is a stay at home mom and I know for a fact she won't be hiring "Supernanny" anytime soon. =] If Suppernanny did show up at my house I would be very very much scared. =]

I think intimidation is what makes her so effective - and how long does the parent's new found knowledge really last? Kids could wear me back down in a heartbeat.

I would be intimidating her with my German Shepherd's she has away of scaring people away at the door. Or throw something at her.
