Hi i am thinking about investing in a Archos 604 wifi enabled media player device and have a question about wifi. Ive read on many reviews that the device is capable of surfing the web with a wifi connection, so my question is can i setup a wifi connection in my home by using a wireless reutor? Also can I pickup signals from other locations like my neigbors wireless reutor?
Thankx for answering

No problem with WiFi, picking up does not equate to actually use the signal, your own WiFi setup is going to co-exist just fine with your neighbours' setup. Just get the devices and do the setup without worrying about your neighbours.

It's not an investment it's a purchase. An investment is something that may go up in value. A media player device goes down in value, and quite rapidly!

Yes I use a wireless router for my laptop and i do pick up other peoples reutors but you will only be able to access them if they aren't password protected.
