hello. I'm 22 weeks and I just came back from having my ultrasound. The radiologist helped me figure out how to distinguish the feelings of movement and grugles in my tummy. Well, now that I got that distinguished, I actually felt my baby kick the first time and the father got to feel it as well.
the easiest way to make your baby kick is to lay down rub your belly and move your baby just a little, then hold your hand on your belly till you feel something. If you don't feel anything, keep doing it, it'll move on ya. Grats!!!

Congratulations, when you feel the baby kick it is move of a complete movement, its like a sweeping movement. The baby will bounce off the walls of your uterus. When your after 28 weeks the baby starts to get cramped so the movements become more like just kicks as its harder for the baby to move around and it stays more in one spot kicking, by now your baby would have found a favorite spot but as there is still plenty of room to move around without been cramped it will move much more during the second trimester. For a first pregnancy its normal to begin to feel movements between 19-22 weeks for a second or more pregnancy its between 17-20 weeks, as the lining of the uterus is thinner. Enjoy as each day goes by the kicks and movement will become more obvious and harder. You should be able to watch your belly move. Good luck.

A kick will feel like when u have the hiccups. When the baby is moving, it feels like u have gas bubbles LOL. As the baby gets older, u will see little feet, elbows, etc pokin out. It is fun trying to guess what part of the baby it is. I was about 4 months with my son when he started kicking and about 6-7 when I started playing the guessing game.

Believe me I felt like IT TOOK FOREVER TO FEEL IT!! i even thought i imagined it. But the shifting and moving means the little ones getting ready. When you feel the shifting in your tummy you can play with them too like rub wear you feel the movement then stop and wait to see if they move back. But When my daughter first kicked it was about 5 more weeks from where you are and i almost fell over hehe right in my ribs... . Good luck and I hope this helps!!

kicking and movement will feel very similar until you are quite far gone, proberly around 7 months. by then your baby will be very strong and will be able to give you a good kick!! but when you first start feeling movement, it will all just feel the same!
believe me, when you are 8 months pregnant you will be sick and tiered of the kicks you get, they hurt!! you will get to notice the different types of movements your baby does and in time distinguise the difference. dont worry, it will all happen in time!!!
