i smell ammonia every day just about when i take a shower and just driving in the car, working,walking,sitting

when i take a shower it robs my breath. Ihave changed my shampoo and body soap. when i sit still i can smell that oder. when i am in the car driving the smell will apear. when i said somthing to my dad he told me it might be my sinnes i toke sinnes pills it did not help. i am just sitting here typing and i can now smell the oder it will give me headack and some times it will make me sick to my stomak.

When I was pregnant and about to give birth. There were several times I thought my water had broke when in fact it was the baby pushing on my bladder making me..well..pee on myself. They told me if it smelled like amonia it was urine, if it had no smell it was probably my water breaking. It sounds like you are peeing on yourself.

I am sorry to hear about your problem with smelling ammonia. I would suggest that this symptom requires you to see a physician. It is possible for the ammonia odor to be caused by infection with Helicobacter, or liver problems, or even kidney problems.

Ammonia is not a natural smell, however, the body does get rid of nitrogen and ammonia through the urine. If the body smells like ammonia, it may because of extra ammonia in the blood that the body can not get rid of.

I suggest this is serious enough, that you should seek medical help *** soon as possible !!!

I strongly suggest having a physical examination by your physician. We are taught in Medical School that odors or scents are important diagnostic tools and this is suggestive of a urinary or kidney problem. It is not necessarily serious but should be investigated. The headache may also be related to a kidney problem. You need to have an urinalysis.

Get your cooter to a doc. you could be leaking urine.
