If you read the book than you know that tom is an african american just trying to provide for his family. He is convicted of rape, but didn't do it. He is proved guilty. as someone else already said, use words like I and Me. Values- what he believes in, basically. Just like a good hardworking man, i guess. changes - doesn't change to much, always very suttle and not wanting to be known, maybe a little scared throughout the court room scene?? and the last one is easy...just be like, I DIDN'T DO IT! ya and stuff like that
