If her legs are hairy then yes, by all means, it is completely appropriate to start shaving. There is no set age, people just start when they need to. If you are afraid she might cut herself then she could use Nair or something like that... I started shaving when I was like 10, I'm 12 now and I still don't need to shave, I just shaved because my friend did because she needed it, and now I wish I didn't shave because M my hair only started growing dark when I did, but it still isn't very dark... Sorry this story didn't really have to do with the question... But yeah, let her shave!

Yes it would be appropriate to start her now. The reason her legs is so hairy is good ole puberty. She probably needs to start on her underarms as well. I was 12 when I started shaving, my daughter was 11.

My daughter started at 11 for the same reason.

I let my daughter start at ten, but that is only because the poor child was a little gorilla in training (lol). I would say let your daughter start if she is anything like my daughter's legs.. ouch. I worried about kids teasing her since kids can be so cruel now a days..

well, if she has gym, which she probably does, then I would demonstrate how to do it. I remember seeing girls at 16 and 17 who looked like they never shaved their legs and they weren't worried about it. If you want your daughter to not be laughed at do it, but I would wait till she is 12 or 13.

11 yr. old is fine, but I would start with Nair or something of that sort just to avoid the problem of her cutting herself. You can also practice with a disposable razor by leaving the safety cover on, to show her the ideal.
Good Luck

Are you nuts? particularly? i do no longer think of everyone seems to be judging, they only understand the data and that alot of the time it particularly is an extremely vast mistake. It occurs and you with a bit of luck do your maximum suitable as a newborn raising a newborn, yet I honestly would not propose all and sundry to be pregnant as a pre-youngster or tween. that's ridiculous. i grow to be 26 as quickly as I had my first. Thank God.

I shaved when I was 13, but my hair was lighter. If she has really hairy legs, I don't see a problem.
