first you will need an acess point.i reccomend a linksys acess point because they will speed the internet up a lot.connect the acess point using the software disc that comes with it.after that use a wireless enabled laptop and connect to your network.if you want to be the only one connect to your network you will need to create a network key which you should be able to do when you use the disc.

Hope this helps!!

Best and easiest way...

Buy a decent wireless router (has wireless and Ethernet ports.)

Place the router between your cable modem and your primary computer. Connect the cable modem to the WAN port of the router, connect the primary computer on of the Ethernet ports (or connect to it wirelessly (may require purchase of a wireless adapter).

Follow the direction from your router manual to enable the routers security features of the router (so your neighbor can't leech of your wireless signal).

Use the windows network setup wizard on each computer on the network giving them each a unique name but the same work group name. In your printers and faxes control panel click on any printer you want to share on the network. If you use a firewall other than windows check your firewall network settings to allow the level of access that works for you.

Good Luck.
