Lol, I think so! I don't even have an Apple, but just the fact that they are preventing the computer industry from turning into a monoploy makes me root for them.

The computer industry is by no means a monopoly, as there are many PC manufacturers out there, including HP, Compaq, Dell, Gateway, Eachines, and others. Then there are parts suppliers, such as AMD, nVidia, Asus, OCZ, and others. There is very much healthy competition on this end. On the other hand, the operating system industry is already a monopoly because Apple is losing market share because they decide to be so different that they are incompatible with anything except themselves. Then there are Windows and Linux/UNIX left over, and with Linux's heavy console/terminal (command line) use, it is not suited for the average user. So a Windows monopoly it is!
