I would say yes! Since we are mammals, and other animals are mammals also, that would make us animals as well! Some people in the past have debated this subject and lost many times to science! It really hurts the feelings of very religous people to think of a concept that relates us to other species!

No. I would say that humans are one of the lowest species alive on earth today. We are caging other animals, and killing them, keeping them as 'pets'. We are destroying the earth and in turn it will destroy us, and other species even though the other species have done nothing wrong. We don't even have the fredom to live how we were intended to live anymore, because humans beings have taken over.

dont know about higher form but we are animals and like all animals we adapt and evolve to servive. other animals didnt need to evolve much to adapt or evolved more diffrentlly to suite there needs but for humans we were foced to adapt more then other animals in sertain aspects just to servive leading to the use of tools as far as intellegance other animals have shown remarkable intelegance and who know maybe even smarter then us but our unique abilities does give us the upper hand now dont it

We are definitely unique in our reasoning ability. I'm not sure that makes us "higher" in any sense. But imagine if any other animal out there was making vehicles and recording TV shows and stuff -- we're definitely different.

We are just very highly evolved animals, the most intelligent. That is what allows us to create nonsense like religion to justify our existence and meaningless wars.
