Albert Einstein
Albert Einstein (German pronunciation (help·info)) (March 14, 1879 – April 18, 1955) was a German-born theoretical physicist widely known as one of the greatest physicists of all time.[1][2] He formulated the special and general theories of relativity. In addition, he made significant advancements to quantum theory and statistical mechanics. While best known for the Theory of Relativity (and specifically mass-energy equivalence, E=mc2), he was awarded the 1921 Nobel Prize for Physics for his 1905 (his "wonderful year" or "miraculous year") explanation of the photoelectric effect and "for his services to Theoretical Physics". In popular culture, the name "Einstein" has become synonymous with great intelligence and genius.

Albert Einstein, a German, in 1905 (Special Relativity) and 1915 (General Relativity). Special Relativity has been confirmed beyond any reasonable doubt, as the people who were living in Hiroshima in August 1945 know all too well. General Relativity is not as solidly established -- there are a number of subtle phenomena which it predicts that have not yet been discovered -- but it looks pretty good. Einstein did not win a Nobel Prize for either, although he did win one for work on the photoelectric effect which was the beginnng of quantum mechanics.

Albert Einstein's paper in 1905 called "On the Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies" introduced his "special theory of relativity".
Then between 1908 and 1915 he developed his general theory of relativity.
By the way, he never received a Nobel prize for either theory, he received his Nobel prize in 1921 for his work on the photoelectric effect.

the idea of relativity is completely 2 different theories. Relativity is damaged in to 2 different and separate parts. particular relativity and regular relativity. both one among them were stronger with the aid of Albert Einstein contained in the early 1900's. particular relativity bargains with the conversion of mass to ability contained in the admired equation e=mc^2. It also bargains with the exciting effects of what takes position at the same time as one procedures mild speed, the phenonemon of time dilation and length contraction, all interior certain frames of reference relative to at least one yet another. the time-honored results of particular relativity has been the style of nuclear ability as a source of ability and understanding how stars perform. regular relativity is the the study on the outcome of gravity on area and time and how mild is effected with the aid of gravity. This theory has helped us to appreciate how the universe applications, be able to foretell precisely how planets orbit a megastar, and locate new phenomenon in area in line with our observations, which contain utilising gravitational lensing to locate distant stars and galaxies and the existance of black holes.
