Ok, i have a nvidia 8100 series graphics card..the best graphics card i could buy, and i reformattedmy computer recently, well now, it says that i have a generic graphocs card installed and it wont letme play my games that require a nice graphics card...iim almost to the point of taking my computer back to best buy and have them see what the hecks wrong with it, and suggestions on how to fix this? ive tryed ininstalling and reinstalling the graphics card, but nothing happens...i have no idea how to fix it...thanks, if u need more info about my computer, email me, or im me, and i will be glad to share

OK, not sure what kind of graphics card you actually have but, nvidia doesn't have an 8100 series graphics card anywhere on their web site. They DO have an 8800 series card which is one of their latest. If that is the card that you have, make sure you download the latest drivers from their website. You can get the driver for the 8800 here:

Make sure you download, and use this, before trying to install the driver again: http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=745 Your problem most likely is the fact that you can't install a driver "on top" of another driver, even if it's the same driver.
