i was laying on my bed and i noticed on my side that there is a little bump....so i went and asked my dad about it and he said to pop it....ok before you say anything im going to try and describe it.....its like a bug bite...but not sure.....its small and its kinda inflamed....and its got looks black in the middle.....its sore when you push on it but thats about it...its actually hard to explain it...so my dad said to pop it and my friend (shes 75) said to leave it until morning and see what it looks like...that you soo much if you have an idea...im kinda concerned about it...

Could possibly be a spiter bite, watch the center and the outer edges to see if there is a change in the am! Good Luck!

Simply put, the best thing to do is go and have it checked out by a doctor because a bump on the skin could be anything. That being said, you should probably get it checked out sooner rather than later because typically poisonous spider bites present about like what you're describing. They are usually inflamed and the center portion "necroses" or dies.
I wouldn't try to pop it until you know what it is. The only reason to open a bump on the skin is if it's an abscess or infection. In short, the only way you'll find out if it's something to worry about is to have it looked at.

Do not pop your bump. Don't even touch your bump other than making sure that your bump is kept clean.
So, go clean your bump, wait till morning if need be and then go to the doctor or hospital.
If you pop then you could become at risk for infection among other things. Don't pop the bump. Don't pop the bump!

Sometimes it is a cyst. A little pore gets infected under the skin and it feels like bruised. But you can't pop it, you have to have it lanced because it gets under the skin and introverts. Also sometimes a hair will invert and grow back into the pore. Also creating a cyst. Good luck.

Could be an ingrown hair. Put heat to it, like a washcloth after running hot water on it.

It's not a blackhead?...but possibly a blood blister!
