Yes! We are what we are taught. We learn 90 persent of what we know through the eyes! If all one sees is bad things, murders, rapes, theiving, robberies, lust, drugs, alcohol, smoking, etc, then that is what one is going to do.
When you were growing up, wether or not you want to think so, you have taken on the traits of your mom and dad through their actions and teachings. You learned alot by what they acted around you, more than what they told you!
So it is with vedios and movies, if that is what you see all the time is violence etcx, that will have an effect on our behavior. or the behavior of your children.

I don't agree. If you are a violent person to begin with, than all the TV and video games in the world will not make you violent. If you are smart enough to know the difference between fantasy violence and real life violence, then no TV or game will change that. It also depends on how you are raised and your social surroundings. You cannot always blame TV or video games for violent teens, the blame must go to the parents, they are the ones who are responsible for their children. No one else!

Well, you'd have to look at teenagers before such things, and I expect you'd find they were fighting, bullying, stealing just as much 100 years ago.

Pfft, no. It's the parents fault for not seeing what their children are getting into.

Yes, they hid messages invisible to your eyes but not to your mind in the images.
