Agree with aka annie -it's not only frugal to save food for leftovers, but you can plan ahead to have leftovers by making a large amount of food & not having to cook several times during the week (you can just reheat it).

Yes! I prepare foods that are easily made into leftovers because I cannot afford to waste food. For ONE example, I make a huge pot of chili. One night we have just a bowl of chili. The second night we have spaghetti with chili sauce instead of spaghetti sauce. The third night we have baked potato's with chili. Nobody gets tired of it, and it is cheap. We're not rich, so, no, we do not waste food here.

Absolutely...I work 9PM to 5:30 AM, so this evening's leftovers are often tonights "lunch."

Of course you do!!! I don't think I'm gonna BUY some food, eat it, and throw it away if I have some left over. I'd be stupid to do that. You're wasting money so you might as well keep it.

all of the time, especially if its really good and i made a whole lot. my husband loves my cooking so he loves my leftovers too

yes i do only keep it for like 2-3 days depends on the foods if you got a stew you can keep it for a week
