I don't. But I do bump an 89.6.

And there are usually other factors that can bump up a grade, sometimes as much as 20%, like class participation.

Bottom line: It depends on the professor, and on what it says on the syllabus.

Speaking as a college professor, I can say that some of us would round it up to a 90 making it an A, while others won't, thus leaving it as a B or B+.

It all depends on the individual professor. And I've known some who leave things as is until the final grade. There it might be rounded, but again, it all depends on that professor.

It depends on the professor, your past work in their class, and your effort. A generous professor who knows you try hard and always turn your work in on time, etc will most likely bump it up.

Depends on how well the professor knows you and if your work upto that point is worth an A talk to them and ask what you can do to make it an A

maximum of my college professors grade on a typical ninety-one hundred=A, 80-89=b, and so on. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, I even have had some professors that graded on a curve. commonly circumstances, it became into impossible to comprehend what your letter grade could be till the tip of the semester. i've got had approximately 0.5 and 0.5, so it relatively is fairly basically a individual to individual distinction.

depends.

if you had participated actively in class and really put an effort into it and took every opportunity that the professor could offer then they will take it into consideration.

however, some simply dont.

Some might. Most curve the classes grades though, so it should be bumped up, if you have that grade before the curve.

Not necessarily. If you think you deserve the A, go talk to them. If you don't think you put in the work, don't bother - they will know, and they won't bump you up.
