Michigan lost it's conference championship. So they don't need a re-match, last I checked, no mulligans in college football. That would be like the gators going back and beating auburn because they didn't like the outcome from the last game. Justice has been served and the gators are going to win in a game for the ages.
Can't spell respect without SEC

Red neck inbreds in Florida don't stand a chance against Michigan or Ohio State. Florida got whooped by double digit points against Auburn, a team that's not even in the top ten.
Michigan lost by 3 points against the #1 team, and that was an away game. Michigan played a #1 ranked team, a #2 ranked team, a #7 ranked team, and has 3 rivalry games.
Lee Corso said it best when he said "if Florida was in the big ten and had to face #1 Ohio State, the real #2 Michigan, and # 7 Wisconsin, and had Iowa, Penn State they would have 3 losses.
No wonder after the Ohio State game everybody and I mean everybody said "these are the two best teams in the country".

You all are missing the hypocrisy of the BCS. The entire goal of the BCS is to have #1 vs. #2.
OSU was #1 for the year. Michigan was #2 for 8 weeks. They lose to #1, therefore they prove that they are still the second best team in the country. They don't play... and drop out of #2 TWICE.
This whole argument that "they did not win their conference" is just stupid. The Steelers won the Super Bowl last year and did not win their conference. The whole point is that the BCS is incredibly flawed mix of nerdy computer stats and biased and/or bandwagon jumping voters. The only way to fix this mess is have a true playoff like any other sport does. Imagine if the NFL adopted the BCS. We would argue that the Bears were ranked #2 in the NFC because of the weak NFC North. So, the Super Bowl would be Indianapolis and Dallas because of the computer rankings.
GET A PLAYOFF.
Wake up folks Michigan was #2 all year and got screwed. They should still be #2.

michigan doesnt deserve a rematch, ohio state beat them once so if they beat us once....then what do you do....u cant split the national championship because its not fair for us to beat them and then they win the title...get what im saying...plus michigan didnt put up a challenge.....the numbers at the end of that game didnt match up to the game....michigan only scored 2 touchdowns on their own, the other 2 were from turnovers, ohio state scored 6 td's off of zero turnovers, ohio state is just a better team. PS- im from ohio

Michigan already lost and had their shot. Florida deserves to go. The BCS are screwed though. Notre Dame gets in being number eleven and Wisconsin number 7 gets left out. Looking at Notre Dame's schedule and scores, they don't even deserve to be in the top 15.

Who cares? The BCS idiots made the selections, they're final!
It doesn't matter what we all think. So have fun getting into the hype! Whatever you do when your gators get beat by 27, remember your question ROOK! I don't like either of these teams but OSU is gonna break your heart. Michigan would put up the best fight and it would be a great game, although they would lose, they wouldn't get blown out.

Michigan does deserve it...because number one, they lost by only three points against an undefeated team in their own league. Floridia barely got past Arkanasa. Two things to prove my arguement if you want to read it....

the turf was also scred up when Michigan played OSU, and fater all its the money thats more important to the NCAA thats why I am not going to watch the title game and than I well see Troy Smith and Chris Leak become the next NFL draft busts!

im not defending them or anything, but they probably think that because, 1st of all, they only lost to the best team in the country. USC & Florida lost to other teams below their ranking. 2ndly, they got bumped down in the rankings without even playing for 2 weeks straight. I think they should do it like the NFL & just let the teams play to decide. All this ranking stuff is retarted because everything you guys are saying is *strictly your opinion, not fact*.

Yes Florida did play a more difficult schedule, but you will see when they play Ohio State how good Michigan really was to keep close to OSU in the horseshoe.
