The distance from the earth to the moon is about 240,000 miles, and light travels at 186,000 miles per second, so it takes about 1.3 seconds for light to travel that distance. Radio waves also travel at the speed of light (they are electromagnetic waves just like light), so they also take 1.3 seconds to travel the distance from the earth to the moon.

Light travels around 186,000 miles per second and the moon is around 249,000 miles away, so it looks like it's just under two seconds.

I believe radio waves travel at the speed of light.

Hope that helps.

Radio waves travel at about the same speed as light waves, so again about 2 seconds
