A regular tomb was the body in the ground with a few personal possessions, like food, the dead needed to cross over The body was either in a simple coffin or just wrapped in gauze, letting the desert sand mummify the remains.

Royalty had boats, and furniture, toys, food, wine, symbols of their gods (multiple include the one for cross over to the new life of a jackle head on a dog or something like that). The body was preserved and wrapped in layers and layers of guaze with ambulets on each layer symbolizing religious tasks. The internal organs were removed and put in copius jars, each organ separately. The brain was pulled/socked out through the nose.

Maybe you could show what a royal would put in their tomb today, like IPOD, etc. LOL

Usually its items that will assist with your journey into the afterlife. I.E. Some of the idols represented dolls that would tell your story of life, how you were good or bad, and answered for you. Also, food items, pets, and close family might be buried with you as you got closer to royalty.

They theory that the fellow contained in the tomb change into going to apply them contained in the afterlife. in addition they positioned video games, clothing, and meals in there. If it change right into a pharaoh, they dressed up some servants quite fancy and butchered them (so the pharaoh had someone to boss round contained in the afterlife).

besides a mummy, food, drink, chairs, pottery containing body parts which were removed, mummified falcons, gold, chariots, spears, bows and arrows, toys, games, sacred objects, anything which was thought to be needed to provide the comfort and happiness of the deceased in the afterlife.

It depended on what class you were in, for example, if you were a slave you might be what was in a rich man's tomb to serve him in death.

Only the royals of ancient Egypt could afford to have a tomb!! If not a royal only slaves where killed and buried with their royals!!
With the royal tombs where buried with garlic, flowers and jars of their organ, they we call canobi jars.... Good luck. check the discovery links.
