You go to bed, and in the morning, you have ALOT more points? I went to bed last night with 7,000 points exactly, and woke up and has 7,250 points! Has this ever happened to you? Explain please.

yeah it has but lately it has been the other way around...imagine someone copying my answer, getting best answer and then reporting me for 'mimicking'.

Not that many, but if the Community awards Best Answers for your questions you get 3 points - and sometimes it takes awhile for Yahoo's computer tallies to advise you, but they've already awarded you the points.

yep, check your email or activity details to find out what happened. best answers, with accompanying thumbs up increases points.
mystery points also come people granting you thumbs up for your best answers.
