Wearing fur has been a tradition for as long as there have been clothed people. In many parts of the world, trapping for furs is a big part of local economies, such as in Finland or Canada. If someone wears leather shoes, or eats meat, yet opposes the wearing of furs then they're the definition of the word hypocrite. Peta is an eco-terrorist organization with a pretty face and everything on their website should be taken with a grain of salt. People wear fur because they're not as bleeding-hearted or as gullible as Peta would like them to be.

Do you eat meat or fish? Do you wear shoes, a belt, or have a purse that is made out of leather? Animals had to be killed to produce those products.
There is no difference between killing an animal to get something to eat than there is to get some clothing to keep warm.
Do you think that animals are killed so that we can use their fur and that the meat is thrown away? That's not the case.
I don't understand you people. If you believe in God, the Bible says that He created animals for our benefit. If you don't believe that God created the world but that evolution did, then humans are just another type of animal.
If it is OK for wolves to kill deer to eat, how is it not OK for people to kill deer to eat? If animals have equal rights as people, then people have equal rights as animals.

I own some bunny earmuffs and a bunny scarf. Made out of DEAD BUNNIES! I love the dead bunny muffs!
I also hunt deer...shot bambi's mom yesterday...she ran out into traffic and got splatted by a semi-truck...the only shame is that I should have EATEN HER!

Whoo.. thank goodness fur is dead. Could you imagine how hard it would be to keep wrapped around you if it was squirming all the time?

im sorry hun but im the proud owner of 8 real fur coats all costing my parents thousands of pounds. the most expensive was my chinchilla. well i live in the uk and it gets cold, i need my furs to keep me warm. sorry but would you rather people kill other people to eat or animals. get a life and go and buy a fur coat

most fur is fake anyway. i dont need to understand why....i dont really like fur. but dear, keep your opinions to yourself. as long as the animal isnt going extinct, then ppl can do as they please (free country)
