you can't solve this equation, it is an infinite series of points (it would be a curve if you graphed it on a graphing calculator.)

300(1.1^x) = f(x)
1.1^x = f(x)/300
Take logbase10 both sides
log10[1.1^x] = log10[f(x)/300]
xlog10[1.1] = log10[f(x)/300]
