There's nothing wrong with jeans and t-shirts. Or even something a little bit more fun and flashy.

I'm not sure how old you are, but I have found stores like Express, The Limited and Old Navy are awesome. There's no labels, high quality fabrics and they're decently priced. It's even better when they have sales!

:)

I'm 23 and I love shopping at those places. I don't like to be a billboard for all those brandname companies.

OK. First off, Aeropostale and Hollister ARE NOT the pinnacle of high fashion. How often have you seen a celeb or model out in public in an Aeropostale shirt? Answer: Never. Hollister? Not so much.

Take fashion cues from your favorite fashion icon (Nicole Ritchie, Kate Moss, etc), then go to discount stores (Marshalls or TJ Maxx) or cheap but chic stores (Forever 21 or H&M) and put together outfits that play off the style you like. Fashion does not have to be pricey, you can achieve an amazing look on any budget.

Good luck!

Of course there is. I despise clothing with a name brand written in bold lettering across your chest or something. It makes you look like a walking billboard for the store. Also, stores like Hollister and Aeropostale always have the same items of clothing over and over again it seems. Most people who wear clothes from there look like clones of each other. I suggest trying to find your own style..whatever suits you best. My personal favorite store is Forever 21. They have a wide selection for any style really, and it's afordable.
