i have had this dream at least once a year. for my entire life..

in this particular dream, im sleeping..
in my mom's room.. and there is laughing coming from the closet.. so i pull the covers over my head... the laughing keeps getting loulder..
i walk to the closet door, and open it.. there is a long hall, and at the other end, there is another closet door.. i walk over to it, and there is a bright light shining from under the bottom.. the laughing is loulder at this point..
i open the door, and then silence..
i look up to see my own body hangin there from a noose.. right there in front of me..
i try to run back to the first door.. but the hall never seems to end..
i try to scream for someone to help me.. but they are all sitting on the floor with their backs turned...
i try to turn them around.. but they have no faces...
i run again.. and all of a sudden im falling...
(i even get the feeling in my stomach)..
after falling.. i finally wake up to find all of these faceless bodies surrounding and staring at me...
(the falling feeling again..)
i really wake up this time..

of all the scary dreams that i have had, this is the only one that makes me afraid to sleep...

I have had several nightmares one is where I am on a bridge and everything around me is exploding and I can see this big ball of fire coming towards me. It was really scary. Then I dreamed one time that I was like in this hospital and they took my babies from me and I was looking for them and I found them drowned in some type of drums of some type of water that was keeping them preserved and in the dream I am trying to get out of this place and there is a never ending hall way and I cannot get out. Really creepy. After that dream it was a long time before I wasn't scared to sleep anymore

I've only had a couple scary dreams in my life. I've had lots of anxiety type nightmares, but few that were actually scary. The only one I really remember is that when I was 10, on Halloween night I watched Invasion of the Body Snatchers (the original), and had a dream that my family was all body-snatched. I think that movie scared me because it does not have a happy ending -- it was probably the first movie I had seen that did not end in typical Hollywood ending.

The most scariest nightmare I've ever had is when one time i had dreamed that we lived out in the backwoods and one night my parents had been killed by some beast. then it turned out that the beast was a werewolf and my parents came back from the dead and they healed me down and then the werewolf bit me in my neck. i then just laid there bleeding to death. that's when i woke up.

The scariest nightmare I've ever had was really long and complicated but it involved two scientists who were partners. One discovered how to alter the properties of time so that he was able to move at incredible speeds. He realised how terrible this power could be in the wrong hands so he kept it to himself. His partner went insane after the first scientist would not share his secret and tried to kill him.
My friend and I helped the first scientist run and hide from his crazed partner until he caught up to us in an underground carpark. The first scientist was killed and his partner turned on my friend and I, about to kill us, when I realised the first scientist's secret. I began to run backwards in a zig-zag pattern, taunting the maniac to come and get me in order to save my friend's life. After being unable to catch me he became furious and turned back to my friend. Just as I ran nearer to him to distract him he realised how to alter the properties of time himself and began to chase me. I managed to dodge almost all the hits but just as he was about to kill me I woke up with a gasp.
The scariest part was that as I woke up my dream froze, as if on pause, and faded to white and then to my bedroom, with a whoosh, as if I had been teleported back into my own body. The look on the partner's face when he was about to kill me still scares me.
For some reason he was going to kill me with a metal ruler. I think he picked it up on the floor of the carpark.

I went to sleep without any covers on my back, so that means I was sleeping on my stomach, anyway I heard myself calling my husband, but he couldn't hear me, I couldn't move, I couldn't do anything it felt as if something was on me and when it or whatever let me go I woke up crying and screaming, it was so bad that all I could say to my husband is that I want my momma I guess I scared him too. but that was the scareist thing that ever happen to me while I was asleep, To this day I don't sleep without cover on my back, I told ,my mom what happen she said the witch or the devil rode my back and that she has had this to happen to her also.

On two separate occasions i dreamt i was being stabbed and though i was dreaming i actually felt it. The first one was being repeatedly stabbed in the chest. The second one was being stabbed in the ankle. Only the second one was actually painful.
