Yes, she's alive. If you're wondering why she isn't going to be in "Rocky Balboa", coming to theatres Dec 22, it's because the story takes place some years after the end of "Rocky V" and Adrian has died. I believe Ms Shire would have reprised the role of Adrian, but I think Mr Stallone wanted Rocky to be a widower in this movie.
