How did you sit them down and tell them or show them? I realize that some people just go straight to the bedroom, but how were some ways you showed them?

i kissed him on the cheek and told him that i loved him and that it was okay if he didn't love me back because we would still be friends but i wanted him to know.

I haven't had anything like that happen to me but I have seen similar situations. As a friend, a person would already know them pretty well so there is no need to "get to know them." The next step would be to start asking the other friend on dates and stuff. Not as friends at all, but a real date. Then I guess someone would know how it turns out when they are either turned down or get a 'yes' for that date.

The best way is to have an honest conversation. Going straight to the bedroom can leave you destroyed. I would never recommend this for anybody, except all the relationships that my Ex-wife will have.

Sure have. Bad thing is I never did tell them. We have known each other for years and seem more like brother and sister. But I have long had stronger feelings for her but were afraid to say anything that might hurt what we have now. Our birthdays are one day apart with a few years inbetween but we send each other cards. I think she might feel the same way but like I said we dont want to risk our friendship over love.

I never told them, I was sure she didn't feel the same way and didn't want to jeopardize our friendship. Not telling her is one of my biggest regrets, don't make the same mistake.

Having a few drinks and you heart starts to say things your mind isn't quite ready to deal with.

If you want to tell a friend that you like him/her ask one of their best friends to tell them. It helps that if that person is one of your friends too. Then it looks like you didnt intentionally tell him/her and then you dont seem desperate.
