Yes, it was!! We're studying that right now in World History, and I can already a little of the things that went on in those years... It's sad to see how terrible humans are. There's discrimination damn near everywhere. It won't be erased until all humans are.

Of course, but there's no use complaining about the past. How about drawing attention to the injustices of today? Don't you think your efforts would be better spent campaigning for something we can change?
Does Darfur ring a bell?
How about the treatment of workers in China?
Or maybe the sexual violence occuring in Iraq?
Better yet, how about the poverty and dictatorships in Haiti, the lack of antiretrovirals drug in Africa, sex slaves being traded all over the world, or the calls for continued genocide in Rwanda?
Should we wait sixty years to complain about how horrible they were or should we stop them before they get worse? You can't change the past. The only thing you can change is the future, but that's not going to happen unless you speak up. Revolutions start with the people; sometimes it only takes one person to get the movement started.

Maybe your question would be better suited for the history section. After all, the poll section is meant for opinions and you don't seem to be looking for that.

What about Japanese killing thousands of Chinese? It's not only about Japanese-Americans or Muslim-Americans being discrimated. It's this nasty hatred that's dominating the world.

It's just as bad today how we are treating American Muslims because of 9/11.

This is a story that some consider to be the root of all the anti-Japanese sentiment during WWII.
