i think it has an army guy in it and he tells one of the characters that he knows how to take his mind off the pain(headache) and then he breaks his pinky, i tink it is a few years old

The movie's Major Payne.
The part you're talking about happened at the beginning: Major Payne (Damon Wayans) is on a military mission and one of his comrades gets shot. The guy's shouting "My arm! My arm!" So, Payne says, "You want me to show you a trick, to take your mind off that pain? Here, give me your hand. Now you may feel a little bit of pressure..." and he breaks the guy's finger. So the guy starts yelling "My finger! My finger!" and Payne says, "Work every time." It's pretty funny.
