STDs are not likely since you are not sexually active. Good for you! It's just not safe today.
However, you could have an infection. Or something as simple as jock itch. Sind you sid it has lasted 3 or so months, I suggest you see a doctor and get checked, just to be sure it's nothing else. He/she can then advise you of what to do for it.
Best Wishes,
Sue

It does sound like a fungal infection. It is embarrassing, but a very treatable condition. First, the over the counter medications usually are not as effective as the perscription medicines, but they do work just take longer.
Second, keep the area as clean and dry as possible. Moisture makes the fungus want to spread to other areas. Use a medicated powder to help keep it dry and to control the oder.
It would be in your best interest to wear cotton underwear and to see a health care provider as soon as possible.
Thanks for asking your question and good luck.

Sounds like a yeast infection also known as crotch rot. You can get medicine at the drug store over the counter. It's called jock itch and other similar names. It would be in the department where you would find the athletes feet medicine.
If it is really bad you should have a doctor look at it though, and you cannot have a sexual disease if you haven't be sexual.

You should see your doc.
Are you an athlete? It could be jock itch. It is a skin fungus, you can buy over the counter medications to kill the fungus. Lotrimin, if it doesnt get better within two weeks, you should see your doc. At night try not to sleep with underware on, dont use harsh soaps or lotion on it. Talcum powder may help with the itch. Ibuprofen may help with the inflammation. Monitor for a secondary infection. Severe imflammation, fever, muscle soreness or weakness.

jock itch...ask the pharmacist about OTC products...wear boxers, try not to get sweaty, if you are overweight, you may want to try some Vaseline between your legs so that they don't rub together and irritate the skin...powder (not corn starch) to help keep you dry, shower frequently and use a mild soap down there, no cosmetics or alcohols there either

It's called jock itch. You're right-you can't have a sexual transmitted infection because you haven't done anything sexual. See your doc, he will give you a prescription that will clear things up in a jiffy.

it's your skin down there rubbing up on your leg skin that's there. you have no std. it's normal to have reddness. you might have a skin allergy to the type of fabric your boxers are made out of.
