I make hand beaded pendants from vintage and glass beads and note cards from things like vintage game pieces and paper umbrellas. I have tried selling them on ebay, but it seems like there are so many products on there already that mine are overlooked.
I have sold them at craft shows and to my friends with great results. So, what does everyone suggest. I have seen things like this in cute little botiques all over the place, but I think that botiques would love my stuff too.

Thanks for the suggestions :)

I was like you I researched my area [and had to go further than anticipated] to find out what craft type boutiques were out there ... took a deep breath and went in and asked would they be interested in my stuff ...did not work but what worked was as i walked in i had some of my stuff on my person nicely set out in a basket at first a number said no but then saw my things and went oh their different and then i was able to get my foot in the door but be prepared for knock-backs i think i tried 20 stores only 3 sell my things but 3 is better than nothing

Go into a shop you think might be interested with some of your products and ask them. If they are reluctant to buy them of you then they may be prepared to give them a try on a sale or return basis. If you do that make sure you know what you've left, make a list and get them to agree and sign it. Go back and check regularly to see how the stuff is going.

Good luck

well, depending on where you live, you could try the little boutiques around your area--places like those love selling things made by local artists :) consult the phone book if you live in a larger city, or try an online search for places around where you live. hope this helps!
